TEOTWAWKI Off-grid Supply ("we," "us") is an affiliate/informational website. We do not sell products directly, process payments, or ship anything ourselves — every "Shop" link sends you to a third-party retailer that handles the transaction, your payment information, and fulfillment.
We may collect standard, non-identifying analytics information automatically when you visit (pages viewed, approximate location by region, device/browser type, referring site) through tools such as Google Analytics. We do not collect payment information — that is handled entirely by the retailer you are directed to.
If we add an email signup (for example, a checklist download), we will collect the email address you voluntarily provide and use it only to send the content you signed up for and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
This site uses cookies and similar local storage for: (1) basic analytics, (2) remembering that you've passed the age-verification gate on age-restricted pages, and (3) affiliate tracking cookies placed by our retail partners' links so they can credit us for a referral. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some site features (like the age gate) may not function correctly without them.
This site exists primarily to link to third-party retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Brownells, Palmetto State Armory, Patriot Mobile, and others). Once you click through, that retailer's own privacy policy governs any data you provide to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit through our links.
Our homepage and Guides page show gold and silver spot prices, space weather, recent earthquakes, and the current U.S. flag status. Our server retrieves the price, space weather, and earthquake information from third-party sources (Gold-API, NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, and the U.S. Geological Survey) and saves a short-term copy. If our server cannot supply a value, your browser may request that data directly from those sources. The flag status box is an embedded widget from halfstaff.org (and its supporting files from cdnjs.cloudflare.com): when you load our pages, your browser contacts those services, which can see your IP address and the page you are viewing. We do not send them any other information about you, and we do not control their data practices.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and certain sections (Firearms, Spirits) are restricted to adults only via an age-verification gate. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics tracking using available browser extensions. If you've provided an email address to us directly, you can request removal at any time by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
